In brief: In the 9th Ordinary Session of the Alvito Municipal Chamber, held on May 7, 2026, the session opened with the installation of the Municipal Security Council and the swearing-in of several partner-entity representatives. During the public intervention period, suggestions for improvements to educational facilities were heard from the 3rd year students of the Alvito School Group. Regarding the agenda, the Council unanimously approved: 1) the candidacy under the Alvito Social Regulation (Process No. 131); 2) the concession of Home Teleassistance services (Process No. 17); 3) financial support under the Associative Movement Support Regulation for the Baronia group; 4) the signing of Collaboration Protocols with the Parish Church Fabric of Alvito and Vila Nova da Baronia for church cleaning/maintenance; 5) the setting of dinner prices for Vilanovenses and lunch prices for Alvitenses.
