Terms of sale
Draft — pending legal review
Working draft
This document is a working draft, pending legal review, and is not yet in force. Paid checkout is currently disabled. The final terms will be published before any purchase is possible.
Seller
These terms govern the sale of paid digital services on Foral (foral.ai) by [seller legal name], NIF [to be confirmed], with registered office at [address]. Contact: [email protected].
Object
They apply to one-off purchases (for example, plot reports) and to subscriptions to paid plans. By completing a purchase you accept these terms.
Prices and VAT
All prices are shown in euros and include VAT (IVA). The applicable Portuguese VAT rate depends on your billing region: 23% on the mainland, 22% in Madeira and 16% in the Azores.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. One-off purchases accept card, MB WAY and Multibanco; subscriptions accept card and SEPA direct debit. Multibanco and SEPA payments may take some time to confirm; access and invoicing follow payment confirmation.
Delivery and invoicing
Digital deliverables are made available after payment is confirmed. A certified invoice is issued for every purchase and sent by email; you may request it with your NIF at checkout.
Right of withdrawal
Under Decreto-Lei 24/2014, consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw. For digital content supplied immediately, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins — this is confirmed at checkout.
Refunds and credit notes
Refunds are assessed case by case. Where a refund is granted, a credit note (nota de crédito) referencing the original invoice is issued and sent by email.
Complaints book
A complaint may be submitted through the electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) at livroreclamacoes.pt.
Alternative dispute resolution
Under Lei 144/2015, consumers may resort to an alternative dispute resolution (RAL) entity; the competent entity will be identified here. The EU online dispute resolution platform is also available.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
