In brief: The Belmonte City Hall meeting on 18 September 2026 approved various items, including approval of the previous minutes, social supports for babies and students, a favourable opinion for immaterial heritage registration, amendments to EMPDS statutes, an amendment to the EMPDS contract-program, changes to the organic structure, regulations on public-space works and fees, changes to the lot of the Business Park, recognition of public interest for the municipal shipyard, and a multi-year expense allocation for copying/printing services. Public interventions and citizen questions occurred, as well as commitments by the Executive to investigate cleanliness issues and carry out technical reviews.
