In brief: In the Ordinary Meeting on 15 February 2023, the City Council reviewed previous minutes and discussed topics of public interest, including the push for restoring public control of the CTT, the constitution of a consortium for the project “The Serra, the Landscape and Life,” and a request for exemption of municipal taxes for Carnaval. It also addressed punctual financial support to local associations (Retired, Pensioners and Elderly; Parochial Center) and various planning, budgeting, and public works proposals, including 2023 budget amendments, GOP amendments, leasing for vehicle acquisitions, and actions for the Forte de São Roque, as well as recruitment procedures and education/RECOLHAbio initiatives.
