In brief: In the 15/26 ordinary meeting of Pares Municipal Council (27 August 2026), several decisions with financial, technical and urban planning impact were approved, including the minutes of 16/07/2026, approval of qualification documents for the CETE water connection works, opening of competitive procedures for middle management, changes to the personnel map, addendum to the PPR, a subsidy to an IPSS, tariff exemptions and several caducities of urban planning processes, with several items referred to the Municipal Assembly. The discussion also included the proposal to create a Monitoring Group for the new ETAR Arreigada and the Rio Ferreira. Citizen concerns were noted, including pollution of the Rio Ferreira, a pack of dogs in Baltar, and rodent issues on Avenida de São José, with calls for municipal action.
