In brief: In the Public Ordinary Meeting held on 6 October 2025, the Penafiel City Council approved, unanimously, several important resolutions: reading and approval of interventions related to the minutes of the 15 September meeting; the initiation of a disciplinary process with a written reprimand; the start of procedures to amend the Regulation on Settlement and Collection of Municipal Taxes and Other Revenues; rectification of a previous decision regarding the sale promissory contract; and a deed protocol for the transfer of land for a new road. In two files, powers were also approved to the Mayor to sign deeds or authenticated documents.
