In brief: In the ordinary meeting of 20 December 2024, several decisions with financial and governance impact were approved. Highlights include the awarding of Lot 1 and Lot 2 in the forest protection tender and the appointment of the contract manager; tax measures with IRS and IMI reductions, to be submitted to the Municipal Assembly. Also approved were Cooperation Protocols with the Parish Councils, the Funding Agreement for the Public Transport Service, the Interadministrative Collaboration Contract with the Institute of Registries and Notary, the 2025 Forecast Demonstrations, the multi-year charges for the school project EB 2,3 Álvaro Coutinho “O Magriço”, and a subsidy to the Penedono Handball Nucleus. Voting was predominantly unanimous, with abstentions from two councillors on Deliberation 174/2024.
