In brief: In the first meeting of the 2025-2029 term, the council approved several significant resolutions: fixing the number of councillors at 2; formal nominations for Vice-President, Chief of Staff, Deputy to the President's Office, and Secretary of the Council Support Office; budget modifications for 2025/26 and 2025/27; establishing the meeting cadence; and designating the President to represent the municipality in ARM-Aguas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A. and Porto Santo Development, S.A. It also approved amendments to the LookBuild urban development license and urban infrastructures, and scheduled a public meeting for 20 November 2025.
